How can I add interactivities in my course? Elicitus allows you to add interactivities to your courses. You can choose from the readymade library of dozens of interactivities and then customize it to suit your requirement using the innovative four-way customization interface.
How can I reuse my existing content in PowerPoint® to create eLearning using Elicitus? Elicitus allows converting your existing PowerPoint® content into Elicitus topic pages. You can edit the content after it is imported in Elicitus. On import, it maintains the look and feel, fonts, styles and also the bullets in PowerPoint® slides. Alternatively, you can attach the PowerPoint® file as an attachment to button/ hotspot or hyperlink.
Can I create course in a language supported by Unicode using Elicitus? Definitely yes. Elicitus allows you to create courses in languages such as French, German, Spanish, Chinese and many more languages supported by Unicode. You just need to set the course locale settings using a simple form and you are ready to create the course.
Does Elicitus published course require any plug-ins to play? No. Elicitus publishes the courses to plain HTML format. The courses play straight from Internet Browser without the need of any proprietary plug-ins.
How does one assess a learner's progress using Elicitus? You can assess learners' progress by creating exercises and assessments. Elicitus enables you to create exercises for topic pages. You can also create an assessment for the entire course. Exercises are for self assessment whereas; the assessments are the trackable units. Exercises/Assessments can contain ten types of questions: Multiple choice, Drag and drop, Fill in the blanks, True/false, Match the pairs, Multiple correct answers, Graphic choice, Multiple text entry, Visual identification and Sequencing. You have to enter the correct answers for each question, so that it is automatically corrected. You can give different scores to each question. Questions can be based on media resources such as images and audio files. Elicitus allows setting the pass/ fail percentage for each assessment in the course. You can decide the percentage and the learner will be shown the result at the end of the assessment. In case of SCORM compliance, the result status is passed to the Learning Management System. Topic level exercises are immediately corrected and the learner will get to see whether the chosen answer is correct or wrong. You can choose to display corrective or reinforcement messages to learners. You can choose to show or not to show learners the scores and answers of the assessments.

Which versions of Raptivity are supported by Elicitus? Elicitus works with Raptivity v5.5 onwards. One can invoke Raptivity v5.5 and above from “Insert Interactivity” option of Elicitus. Elicitus supports Raptivity tracking for v6.0 and above. It tracks score and completion status of Raptivity interactions in the course.
What are the terms of Elicitus license agreement? The Elicitus End-User License Agreement entitles a single user to use Elicitus on a singe computer. If you wish to install the software on additional computers, you will need to purchase additional license(s).
